Almost all of the music began life as a single repeated phrase which was transformed over time, with the use of layered efx, into something other... I made about 10 pieces over the course of 24 hours, and have used 5 here for the album. All of the tracks are unedited recorded improvisations, and each piece transported not only the original phase, but also me, to a place that was not expected, through a simply applied set of processes. Each track therefore represents a journey, moving from one place to another, without ever going anywhere. I hope that you'll feel this too.
