about
Finally a poject gestating for over a year comes to fruition. I am so in love with all the artists work and the pieces they have submitted. The illustration is by Rhian Hughes (her chocolate cake and elderflower cordial is deadly). I wanted an image to capture something about the music being like a life support and the need to make music being a necessity. Rhian had already made a t-shirt with that and I just had to invite her to put it on the cover. All the artists are deeply woven into the fabric of Eyeless, veterans and new-comers. I wont single any wonderful artist out but let's just say with so many disparate vehicles for our music, Eyeless remains a constant. Eyeless is a being rather than a label and what links us together is deep sub-atomic need in which soundwork is it's most florid expression. This is a lights out album as much as it is a daylight album. A black hole and a new galaxy. This is Occupation.
